With an Alliance Check Card, you don’t have
to worry about carrying cash, a checkbook or
traveler’s checks. Your Check Card allows
you to make purchases and obtain cash in
many places where checks are not accepted.
And you will enjoy the privacy since you
don’t have to reveal your home address or
telephone number. For even more security,
your Alliance Check Card comes with a
personal identification number (PIN), which
is only known to you.
You can use your Alliance Check Card at
supermarkets, department stores, gas
stations, restaurants and everywhere credit
cards are accepted. So leave your checkbook
at home and carry your Alliance Check Card
instead! It’s the easy way to pay!With
your VISA Check Card, you now have the
option to choose either “Debit” or “Credit.”
Both options can be used at the checkout
counter, used to make purchases on the
internet, or to pay for a fill-up at the gas
pump.
When you use your check card as a “Debit” to
make a purchase, you may have the option to
receive cash back. You now have the option
to choose to withdraw the funds from your
checking or savings account. When selecting
“Debit,” you must use your PIN when you make
purchases and when you receive cash-back.
When you choose “Credit” all you have to do
is swipe, sign and go. When you choose
“Credit,” the funds are drawn directly from
your checking account. If you currently have
a Power Checking Account, whenever you
choose the “Credit” option you will receive
a Cash Back Benefit on all of your Check
Card purchases!

ATM Surcharges
Some banks are now charging a surcharge or
convenience fee for the use of their
machines. They must inform you of this and
get your approval of the surcharge before
you conduct your transaction.
This fee is collected and kept by the bank
that owns the ATM. If you are charged a fee
and wish to dispute it, you will need to
take it up with the financial institution
that owns the ATM that you used. If you are
