Congratulations, David!
"The credit union had always been a happy
place for me. My father frequently brought
me with him as he deposited or withdrew, and I
always received a sucker from the tell.
despite such kindness, parting with my jar of
coins seemed unthinkable. To soothe me, my
father explained how a savings account worked,
and, to sweeten the deal, he explained that the
credit union ran a program where I earned prize
point for each dollar deposited. The
program instantly go me hooked on the concept of
saving. . .I value the investment of my parents,
myself and those generous enough to provide
scholarships to me for my future, and I will
make the most of it."

"Alliance Federal Credit
Union has made me open my eyes and look more
toward my future financially. I've learned
that my mattress is not a good way to save, and
Alliance Federal Credit Union has taught me how
to budget and save money. . . I am applying for
this scholarship because it would be an award
that I can say that I truly deserve for the hard
work and determination that I have been faced
with and achieved. I have developed a
leadership role not only in school but in life.
It is important for young adults, such as
myself, to learn how to be a leader and not a
follower and give back to the community that has
served us throughout our lives."
